As I scroll through endless photos of street style fashions, I realise they are all missing something.
I have come to the conclusion that they are missing 'the casual pearl'.
There are countless images of the casual jeans and t-shirt, the black jeans and coat, or even the lbd and they are all missing the one thing which I think would totally make their outfit, a long simple chain with just one or two pearls - aka 'the casual pearl'.
Ever since Chanel brought out their oversized double pearl choker, there has been a new take on pearls and their traditional style. But I think there needs to be a new approach to pearls.
I think we should all give our pearls a bit of every day loving. We don't need to save them for that annual Christmas party or for our grandmas 90th, I think we should embrace them and show them to the world.
I'm not saying don't wear them on that special occasion, but just a single pearl whether on a ring, bracelet, necklace, wherever can shed a new light on what was other wise, (lets just say it), a boring outfit.
