So when December started I thought I would have so much time to relax and do a few blog posts etc, however this was so not the case.
I have been working nearly full time hours and spent my days off xmas shopping, catching up with friends and feeling perhaps a little too festive (but I don't think that's possible). So now, on Christmas Eve, I finally sit down to write this month's post. And as its xmas eve I feel that a little festive post is in order.
I have decided to do something a little different and do a DIY post. Crazy I know!
I call them my 'cutlery pockets'!
You will need:
- 1 meter of hessian - natural
- Green thick string
- Big needle
- Serviette
- Your favourite cutlery

As our Christmas colours this year were Green and Natural, these were the perfect addition to the theme. They are simple and easy to make and give the table setting just that little extra something. And another bonus is that they can be used for any occasion not just Christmas.
Bonus number 2 is that they can be customised - just sew someone's name into them. Or stitch yellow or pink stitching instead of green. Did someone say Girl's birthday lunch??
ps: As its xmas eve and I haven't set the table yet for Christmas Day dinner, I'll insert a photo when the table has been set. Until then - Merry Christmas everyone xxx
